Education and Talent Development

Employers are increasingly shunning new graduates in favour of the highly skilled personnel, complicating the problem of youth unemployment in Kenya. Graduates from Kenyan universities are less competitive in the job market due to gaps between their training and the skills employers want. Therefore a need for institutions of higher learning to link with employers and industry to bridge the skills gap. KNCCI will work with industry leaders and professional associations in engaging the institutions of higher learning and government agencies towards a better job market.
