The Chamber has representation in al the 47 Counties. It closely collaborates with County Government to advocate for improved business environment at the County level. The objective of this service is to enhance business development through incentives to register, expand and participate in viable trade and investments. The Chamber also develops proposal on how to improve the business environment, which are submitted to the County Budget and Economic Forum (CBEF). The proposals are used to inform the preparation of finance, trade and sectoral development legislation to promote private sector development as the source of wealth creation and employment. The Chamber also collects and collates trade and investment information on County investment opportunities that are used during trade missions, fairs and exhibitions, offers support to the business community and shares information on agreements and markets for exports. The County Chamber also works with partners at the local levels and brings together all the Business Membership Organizations and the private sector at large in forging common business development initiatives to lobby County Government to enhance the business environment.
